A Nice Weekend

We have had an excellent weekend! Relaxing and non-adventurous.
On Friday, Bill and Bonnie (Blake's parents) came into town to take us to dinner and see the new landscaping. We enjoyed a nice dinner at Cock of the Walk. It was good to see them.
Saturday-Stacie invited us over to her pool at the Edge West and, suprisingly, it was not crowded. Although the sun wasn't out, not having rain was a pleasant change. We took both of our cars to Goo Goo Wash and cleaned them extensively-Blake's really needed a thorough cleaning after softball season. Saturday night, we attended an engagment party for Todd Freeman and Rachel Edmundson, some great friends and co-workers of ours. It was nice to see some of the Auburn City Schools people. We are looking forward to their wedding July 11th in Memphis.
Sunday-nothing much to write about, just low-key. Blake has a midterm on Monday so he studied. I prepped for VBS, which starts Monday.
