I hope everyone reading had a wonderful Christmas. Anne and I have spent the last week visiting both of out families, spending about equal time with each.
Time with the Busbin family was great. We were blessed to visit all of my grandparents before Christmas as we traveled to Rome, GA to see my dad' parents. We got to see my mom's parents Christmas Eve as we visited my grandfather at his nursing home and my grandmother went to dinner with us for Christmas Eve. My Uncle Artie and Aunt EJ came in from LA and ate with us as well. A funny story from Christmas Eve mass-once the Church got full about twenty minutes before the starting time of 6, the priest started the service...I have never heard that happening for. We were very fortunate to receive for Christmas from my parents a tour of Europe, including Rome, Paris, and London. We will see them again later this week for the Outback Bowl.
We went to LaGrange Christmas morning to spend the next few days with Anne's parents and her brother's family from Birmingham. It was so much fun to see the boys (Chase, Elijah, and Wells) and play with the toys they got for Christmas. They are growing up way too fast. Luckily, they are at the age where they like Lego's, superheroes, and G.I. Joe...we have a lot in common. We got to see her extended family at the annual Lebanese Christmas dinner on Saturday night. And, finally, we concluded our trip with taking the boys on Sunday to Callaway Gardens' Fantasy in Lights.
We are home for the next few days washing clothes and putting away gifts before we travel again to cheer on the Tigers.
